About The Position

Jim Taylor Ford Lincoln is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Ford Warranty Administrator to manage and process all manufacturer warranty and extended service contract claims. This role is critical to ensuring accurate reimbursement, compliance with Ford Motor Company policies, and smooth communication between the service department, technicians, and manufacturer representatives. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of Ford warranty procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator (Ford experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of dealership service operations and warranty processes
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems and Ford warranty platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple claims simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Process, submit, track, and reconcile all Ford warranty and extended service contract claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure warranty claims comply with Ford Motor Company policies, procedures, and time requirements
  • Review repair orders for accuracy, completeness, proper documentation, and technician coding prior to claim submission
  • Follow up on rejected, short-paid, or pending claims and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Post warranty credits and reconcile warranty schedules with accounting
  • Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, audits, and supporting documentation
  • Monitor warranty receivables and report aging balances to management
  • Assist service advisors and technicians with warranty-related questions and documentation requirements
  • Prepare and support dealership warranty audits and factory reviews
  • Stay current with Ford warranty policy updates, bulletins, and system changes
  • Communicate professionally with Ford representatives as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and customer information
