About The Position

The Warranty Coordinator tracks all homeowner warranty requests and customer care activities, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure timely resolution of warranty items and a positive homeowner experience. This role coordinates inspections, repairs, documentation, and communication with homeowners, trade partners, and internal teams while maintaining accurate records and supporting quality assurance throughout the warranty process. This role is located at the division office located at 13737 Struthers Rd, St 200, Colorado Springs, CO, 80921.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the residential construction, homebuilding, warranty, customer service, or related industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally address homeowner concerns, explain warranty processes, and effectively coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), report generation, database management, and warranty tracking systems.
  • Ability to analyze information, troubleshoot issues, and make sound decisions.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple warranty requests, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, including construction, customer care, field operations, trade partners, and leadership, to ensure timely resolution of homeowner issues and a positive customer experience.
  • High school diploma required

  • associate's or bachelor's degree in business, construction management, customer service, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage homeowner warranty requests from intake through resolution, including creating, tracking, and following up on warranty tickets, orders, and special projects.
  • Coordinate and schedule warranty inspections, appointments, and repairs with homeowners, subcontractors, and field superintendents to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain organized warranty, customer care, insurance claim, and project documentation, including job files, permit packages, and construction start packages.
  • Conduct closing-day site visits, document completed and outstanding items, and support homeowner meetings throughout the construction and warranty process.
  • Serve as the primary customer liaison, addressing concerns professionally, managing expectations, and ensuring a high level of homeowner satisfaction.
  • Support quality assurance and project completion activities, including QA walks, orientations, permit and inspection tracking, and coordination of complex repair work.
