About The Position

Audi Central Houston, a Sonic Automotive dealership, is seeking a Warranty Administrator. This role is responsible for processing warranty claims, ensuring proper documentation, and reconciling payments accurately. The ideal candidate will have dealership experience and prior warranty processing knowledge. This is a full-time position with compensation ranging from $16-$20 per hour.

Requirements

Prior warranty processing experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic accounting or reconciliation experience.
Proficiency with computers and dealership management software.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Authorized to work in the USA.
Ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Nice To Haves

Dealership experience.
Familiarity with multiple automotive brands and factory warranty procedures.
Experience assisting multiple departments in a dealership setting.

Responsibilities

Process warranty claims efficiently for all franchises or distributors.
Ensure all warranty paperwork is complete and accurate.
Verify claims meet factory or distributor criteria.
Reconcile warranty receivables with payments according to accounting schedules.
Post credits and update records in dealership software.
Follow up on rejected claims and resubmit or process write-offs as authorized.
Track and manage warranty parts, including tagging and proper disposal or return.
Stay up to date on factory recalls, service bulletins, and warranty policies.
Assist service, body shop, cashier, or administrative teams as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance and organized work area.
