About The Position

The purpose of this role is to perform material handling as assigned. The Wares Stocker will be responsible for stocking shelves, assisting with truck unloading and loading, and performing other related duties as directed by management. This position requires good work habits, including a positive attitude and punctuality, and the ability to work at industrial standards. The role involves interaction with the general public, requiring responsiveness to customer needs and maintaining a positive public image for the store.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must have good work habits, such as acceptable attitude and punctuality.
• Must respond appropriately to supervision.
• Must be able to work at industrial standards.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock rack, bins, and shelves as instructed.
• Assist truck driver in unloading and loading of truck.
• Perform other related duties as directed by the Lead Worker and the Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Follow instructions, both verbal and written.
• Seek guidance when needed.
• Keep Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager informed of any problems and suggestions concerning the store.
• Be responsive to customer interests and reactions, such as complaints and suggestions received.
• Be particularly careful of public opinion and the manner in which the conduct of staff, the appearance, and operation of the store affect such opinions.
