About The Position

The Warehouser is responsible for operating various equipment to load, unload, and move product and materials. This role also involves maintaining paperwork, handling material functions like counting and sorting, and ensuring timely shipment of products to meet customer needs. The position requires adherence to all quality, health, safety, and environmental programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma with minimum of one year work experience in a shipping and receiving position
• Operation of forklift
• Hand tools
• Computer skills
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

• Internal promotion with minimum technical work experience at manager’s discretion

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment (including forklifts, side-loaders, powered and unpowered lifts) to load, unload and move product and materials
• Operate hand tools in crate/ container building
• Maintain control of paperwork and related documents and processes those documents in a timely manner
• Handle other material handling functions such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking
• Complete in a timely manner the shipment of product to meet the customer’s needs
• Observes safety regulations, wears required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to Management
• Adheres to all HSE requirements
