About The Position

This role involves performing various warehouse tasks including shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory management. The Warehouser will be responsible for reading documentation, moving items, recording data, and ensuring the warehouse is maintained in a clean, orderly, and safe manner. The position also requires operating machinery safely, assembling containers, packing goods, and participating in inspections and investigations related to safety and the environment.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required.
  • Warehouse software experience required.
  • 1 year warehouse experience required.
  • Forklift operating experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • ERP experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ warehouse experience preferred.
  • Electric reach truck experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of rigging and loading preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform shipping, receiving, and stocking warehouse tasks.
  • Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
  • Move items to appropriate areas.
  • Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
  • Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
  • Ensuring daily pre-use inspections are completed on equipment prior to operation.
  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
  • Participate in shop inspections/investigations, including shop, environment, equipment and HSE incidents.
  • Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually, pack goods to be shipped and provide shipping instructions.
  • Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
