A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Warehouser to join their team in Westfield, MA. This role involves safely loading and unloading, organizing, and packing and unpacking freight. Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift merchandise weighing in excess of 25 lbs
- Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Prior experience in warehousing, freight and/or logistics preferred
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trailers using appropriate equipment – carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Picking, packing, and staging freight for pickup
- Physically lifting and moving boxes
- Utilizing scanners to read, track and monitor freight throughout the warehouse
- Operating with a customer service first mentality
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work
