About The Position

The purpose for this position is to assist in daily operational duties at the facility. The Warehouseman-Turf Facility is responsible for maintaining operations at a retail supply location, following maintenance schedules for the facility and equipment, and managing inventory and distribution of products. This role involves driving and delivering miscellaneous products, stocking and moving warehouse product and material, and assisting other operations personnel. The position also plays a part in maintaining the facility and equipment image, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and providing excellent customer service. The Warehouseman works with the location manager on all safety and compliance issues and must adhere to Conserv FS’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
1 or more years of retail related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of basic business principles of inventory management and mechanics.
Ability to safely operate forklifts, front-end loaders, skid steers, and other agricultural equipment.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Frequently required to lift 51-70 lbs. as needed.
Frequently exposed to working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on Conserv FS’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
Acceptable and job-related background check, drug test, motor vehicle report, and/or reference check.

Responsibilities

Performing all other duties as assigned.
