About The Position

Receive, store, load and move building materials in the warehouse and in the loading of trucks. Workweek is Monday through Friday and may require some overtime work.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively and safely handle a forklift
• Able to read the customer order, shipping order, purchase order, and/or bill of lading to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Able to count and perform simple arithmetic
• Able to physically move material either by forklift or by hand to unload incoming materials from railcars, trucks; and, to load outgoing deliveries
• Able to identify products and accurately handle items specified on written company documents
• Able to keep warehouse clean and orderly
• Need to maintain good business relations with customers who come to the warehouse to pick up material
