About The Position
Diakon Logistics provides white-glove, last-mile delivery solutions for the most reputable furniture and appliance retailers in the country. Come join our growing company. Warehouse staff will report to the Operations Manager. They take pride in moving products through the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner. Warehouse employees should be able to locate items in the warehouse quickly and efficiently. They work cross-functionally with the Operations Manager and Delivery Supervisor to keep things moving smoothly in the warehouse with a goal of exceeding the client’s and Company’s expectations.

Responsibilities
- Determines moving requirements by obtaining work orders and manifest.
- Retrieves inventory by locating and verifying materials; stacking and securing materials; moving materials to staging area or to/from transportation vehicle using a hand truck, clamp truck and/or forklift.
- Maintains inventory and shipping records by completing logs.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Accomplishes warehousing/shipping and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
