About The Position

We are a Commercial and Industrial Electrical contractor specializing in Heavy Industrial Electrical, Highway Lighting, and Traffic Signalization projects. We serve corporate clients and government entities, maintaining yearly contracts with multiple counties and the Florida Department of Transportation. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding work, including working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to pass required drug and alcohol testing.

  • Paid apprenticeship and training opportunities through the 4-year Florida Electrical Apprenticeship & Training (FEAT) and Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) apprenticeship programs.
  • Paid certifications including: CDL-A, Crane Certification (rigging, signaling, operating), IMSA, Maintenance of Traffic, Traffic Signal Technician Levels I, II, and III.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, organize, and store inventory and materials in designated locations.
  • Load, unload, move, and transport inventory, equipment, and materials between facilities, storage areas, trucks, trailers, and designated pick-up locations.
  • Sort, stack, and organize inventory and large bulk materials safely and efficiently.
  • Verify the accuracy and condition of incoming deliveries and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to management.
  • Process inventory and maintain accurate inventory logs, records, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare inventory and documentation for audits and periodic inventory counts.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other equipment necessary to move, load, and store materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse, yard, storage areas, aisles, and workspaces.
  • Perform routine exterior maintenance, including keeping the yard, parking areas, walkways, and surrounding property clean, organized, and free of debris and weeds.
  • Wash, clean, and maintain the appearance of company fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance and upkeep tasks for warehouse, yard, and facility areas.
  • Safely handle and operate tools, equipment, and accessories necessary to complete assigned duties.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, property damage, equipment issues, or maintenance needs to management.
  • Assist with other warehouse, yard, facility, and general labor duties as assigned.
