About The Position

Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health performs manual or automated tasks necessary for receiving, storing, and shipping products. Work may include receiving product, fulfilling and packaging orders, and shipping orders within established team goals to support on-time delivery.

This role is open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. Training is provided starting on the first day. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or until work is finished. The pay rate is $20.60 per hour, including shift differential. The position is not bonus eligible.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights up to 30 feet.
• Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with technology such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
• Warehouse experience; however, candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Train and become certified to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
