About The Position
The Thrift Store is closed on Sundays. The position is responsible for receiving, sorting, pricing, and preparing donated items for display in the store. This includes determining the suitability and pricing of items based on established standards and assisting in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
Requirements
- No formal education or experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift Certification Preferred
- Bailer Certification Preferred
Responsibilities
- Packs items in boxes and marks boxes accordingly.
- Assists in transporting boxes to appropriate storage area.
- Prepares non-suitable clothes for the bailer.
- Loads the Bailer.
- Operates the Bailer.
- Lifts and carries items to the appropriate destination for further processing, storage or displaying in store.
- Assists with the packaging and storage of Seasonal Items.
- Loads trash and unsalable items on the dump trailer.
