About The Position
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for various warehouse operations including unloading trucks, inspecting deliveries, storing items, and preparing materials for shipping. This role involves operating warehouse equipment and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand or walk for long periods.
- Ability to have strong attention to detail for repackaging materials and inventory counts.
- Ability to collaborate with other warehouse staff to meet productivity targets.
- Experience or willingness to learn how to operate machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Commitment to following all safety rules and regulations.
- Must pass a physical exam and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Unload trucks, inspect deliveries for damage and discrepancies, store items in their correct locations.
- Palletize and repackage materials for outbound shipping.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of products in storage.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and store heavy or large items safely and efficiently.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
