About The Position

This Warehouse Worker is primarily responsible for picking and assembling product and our cone department. This position is responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory locations, assembling products according to company specifications, and preparing orders for shipment. In addition, this role will be the primary back up in our cone department providing support with cutting labels, stenciling , and cone production as needed. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to consistently meet daily production and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to regularly lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and repetitive hand and wrist movements to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Basic math, counting, and measurement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to safely operate production machinery and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including standard operating procedures.

  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory movement.

  • Ability to safely operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick products using pick lists, tablet, or the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Verify item numbers, quantities, and product condition before processing.
  • Organize picked items for assembly or shipment.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged products to Inventory Control (IC) or management.
  • Assemble products according to established work instructions and quality standards.
  • Inspect components prior to assembly to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure completed products meet company quality specifications.
  • Package assembled products for shipment or storage in a manner that protects them from damage.
  • Assemble cones and channelizers using the assigned collar type according to production specifications.
  • Stencil cones and channelizers as required.
  • Label vertical panels accurately and according to work instructions.
  • Operate cutting equipment to produce labels for channelizers and vertical panel production.
  • Safely operate assembly tools and equipment, including power screwdrivers and propane flame heaters.
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to transport raw materials and finished products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout each shift.
  • Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and business operations.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Properly operate and maintain warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, or equipment malfunctions to management.
