The Warehouse Worker is responsible for loading, unloading, counting, inspecting, storing, and picking products, as well as completing orders. This customer-service-focused role maintains quality and accuracy standards while receiving and processing stock, preparing orders for shipment, performing inventory controls, and assisting customers with their orders. The position operates in a cold-storage warehouse, with temperatures close to freezing, around heavy machinery and product racks. Work is fast-paced and may involve exposure to outdoor weather—including extreme heat, humidity, and cold—on the front or back platforms. The company operates from Sunday morning through Friday evening, 24 hours a day, six days per week. The worker must be flexible to work any shift assigned under the seniority policy and dress for the elements while following protective-equipment requirements. The role requires repeated physical activity, including lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, stooping, and squatting for periods of up to 10 hours per shift. Required protective equipment includes steel-toe or composite-toe boots and a safety vest. Pay is $20.00 per hour.
