Learn more about our culture. Position Summary: The Warehouse Technician supports the daily operation of Story Construction's warehouse under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager. Story's warehouse is the logistical center for storing, maintaining, and sourcing heavy equipment, power tools, hand tools, and more for use on our construction jobsites. The ideal candidate will have some basic knowledge of the construction industry, basic mechanical aptitude, and a CDL. This is a full time position, with working hours Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM.

Requirements

A valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record is required

Nice To Haves

A current Class A CDL
Basic mechanical skills, including small engine
Experience in the construction industry

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading company tool trailers, ensuring that inventory is placed in the correct area.
Deliver fuel to Story Construction jobsites using the fuel truck
Perform minor routine maintenance on company hand and power tools
Perform general warehouse maintenance duties such as changing lightbulbs, maintaining organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, as well as snow removal and lawn care.
Operate a variety of equipment such as skid loader, rough terrain and sit-down forklift, and other as assigned
Participate in quarterly tool inspection and tool-tagging
Shuttle tools, vehicles, and other equipment to assigned locations
May perform other duties as assigned
