About The Position

OnTrac is hiring Package Handlers to support warehouse operations. Package Handlers help keep the warehouse functioning smoothly, with an emphasis on quality and following safety protocols. The role involves unloading trailers, sorting packages by ZIP code, and loading delivery trucks as part of a team.

The position is located at 4339 Carolina Ave. Bldg E., Richmond, VA 23222, and pays $16.00 per hour. Available schedules are Monday through Thursday, 4:00 AM–9:30 AM or until the end of sort, and Wednesday through Sunday, 4:00 AM–9:30 AM or until the end of sort. Hours may vary according to business needs. “End of Sort” means completion of all required sorting work and cleanup activities as directed by site management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to remain on your feet while working.
• Ability to work in warehouse temperatures that vary with the seasons, including heat and cold.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
• Load trucks for deliveries.
• Follow safety practices and help maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Work cooperatively with the team to complete the work.
