About The Position

The Warehouse Worker will maintain the organization of inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records. The Warehouse Worker provides verification of all incoming shipments, transfers and damaged USDA commodity foods, as well as stock checking, maintenance and control inventory while abiding housekeeping practices of the warehouse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of inventory procedures
• Skills in relating with the general public
• Good physical condition
• Forklift knowledge
• Must become acquainted during the probation period with the operation of the walk-in freezer and cooler
• Must be physically able to perform maintenance duties
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, climb, stand and sit
• Ability to properly lift up to 42 lbs.
• Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents The Osage Nation
• Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
• Requires a high level of problem solving skills
• Must maintain confidentiality at all times
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Good interpersonal communication and team work skills
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
• Must have a clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s Degree preferred
• Forklift certification (to be obtained within the first twelve (12) months of employment)

Responsibilities

• Maintain the organization of inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records.
