About The Position

The Warehouse Worker supports safe and efficient warehouse operations by maintaining the warehouse, handling shipping and receiving, storing and organizing inventory, preparing deliveries, and supporting customer pickup. The role includes accurate order fulfillment, safe loading and unloading of trucks, material handling, and upkeep of warehouse equipment and work areas. The position is on-site at National Structure - Savannah, 305 Telfair Road, Savannah, GA 31415, and reports to the department manager. No direct reports. Little to no travel is required.

Requirements

• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stock materials.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate basic warehouse equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0–1 years of experience in warehouse, material handling, delivery, construction, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.
• Experience in construction, building materials, delivery, or a related industry.
• Familiarity with material handling and inventory storage practices.
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling accurate materials, and placing them in the appropriate area for customer pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory controls by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
• Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations to support efficient operations.
• Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operated according to company standards.
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as authorized and trained.
• Assist with product storage, material handling, and delivery setup activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
