About The Position

The Warehouse Worker’s main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards. Our ideal candidate is an individual with previous material handling experience in fast-paced environments that can multi-task. Possibility for overtime for select shifts. Ability to work evenings, holidays and special events may be required. Ability to work every game day is required unless time off is approved in advance. This position is a Part-Time/Seasonal role.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs., frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, holidays and special events may be required.
  • Ability to work every game day is required unless time off is approved in advance.

Nice To Haves

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Experience in a shipping/receiving role handling food product.
  • Some client locations require a current valid driver’s license. If this is required, an MVR will be run as part of your pre-employment screening process.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for organizing and storing all incoming products in assigned locations in a timely manner, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable products.
  • Load, unload and transport products and materials to different areas of the warehouse and/or other locations in the building. May require use of carts, powered industrial vehicles (PIV), or motor vehicles.
  • Responsible for cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of work areas.
  • Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to meet accuracy and production standards.
  • May require training and operation of a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, forklifts, and/or golf cart.
  • Picks inventory to assemble orders of product, supplies and equipment for requisitions or established par levels.
  • Responsible for conducting routine physical inventory counts based on established location schedules.
  • Clean work areas as assigned, including but not limited to restrooms, break areas, loading dock, freight elevators, and loading platform when applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures.
  • Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) and annotate when equipment is not operable.
  • Take appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets.
  • Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities and attend meetings, as required.
