About The Position
This is a long-term temporary role for a Hoses and Cables Assembler I on the 1st shift. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with mandatory overtime as instructed, which could include coming in early, staying later, or working a 6-day work week. There may be opportunities for consideration for regular full-time status within 6-12 months based on performance and business needs. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Steel toe or composite footwear
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work every day, not be late or leave early.
- Prior experience of at least one year doing general duties of distributing, moving, stocking, shipping and/or receiving a variety of parts and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Distributes, moves, stocks, ships and/or receives a variety of parts and equipment.
- Performs work under direct supervision from manager, assistant team leader (ATL) or other departmental lead.
- Operates hand and power tools for mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electronic assembly.
- Visually inspects own work prior to next operation.
- Makes adjustments as necessary.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to others.
- Picking and packing orders
- Measuring and cutting hoses and cables
- Other duties as assigned and needed
