About The Position

The Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of company products while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper handling of materials, and excellent customer service while maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. The position requires flexibility to perform both driving and warehouse duties as business needs require.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license; DOT/CDL a plus; clean driver’s abstract
  • Prior experience in driving, warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and shipping.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, delivery routes, and material handling practices, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to operate delivery vehicles, forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability, including regular and predictable attendance, punctuality, effective time management, and adherence to company safety and policy requirements.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, respectful, and professional demeanor and conduct oneself with integrity.
  • Basic written communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately calculate material measurements, including square footage and linear footage.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness, organization, and order in the warehouse.
  • Ability to pass required screening for base access (DBIDS, TWIC, etc.) as needed.

  • Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up materials in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Load, unload, secure, and transport materials to ensure damage-free delivery.
  • Verify orders for accuracy before delivery and obtain required delivery documentation and customer signatures.
  • Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and represent the company in a positive manner.
  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming shipments.
  • Pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, yard, and delivery vehicles.
  • Accurately calculate material measurements, including square footage and linear footage, for order fulfillment and shipment preparation.
  • Receive deliveries, unload containers, inspect shipments, and restock inventory.
  • Process paperwork related to receiving, inventory, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support inventory accuracy through proper handling, labeling, and storage of materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Participate in educational and professional development opportunities to update job knowledge.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and operational needs.
