Warehouse Worker - Night Shift
About The Position
LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as a Warehouse Worker on the night shift. Requirements
- Up to 1 year of work related experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Basic computer skills
- Basic messages communicated orally
- Ability to write brief messages and keep simple records
- Ability to follow standard procedures with no decision making involved
- Ability to use guidance/guidelines provided by supervisor/manager
- Ability to follow assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma/GED
- Warehouse, or similar, work environment experience
- Prior PIT (forklift, order picker, etc) experience
Responsibilities
- Perform duties aligned with shipping and/or receiving
- Process incoming stock and materials
- Pick and fill orders from stock
- Pack and ship orders
- Manage, organize and retrieve stock in the warehouse
- Operate manual/powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.
- Receive and put away inbound product to designated location
- Pick/pull correct product from the appropriate locations and delivering to staging area/delivery truck
- Operate a manual/powered equipment to transport product in and about warehouse
- Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence
- Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas
- Comply with established company policies and procedures
- Assume other duties as assigned
