About The Position

This position is for a Warehouse Worker on the 2nd Shift (3 PM - 11 PM) at the Meta site in New Albany, OH. It is a 6-month contract role. The primary responsibilities include moving material to the kitting line, staging bulk pack pallets, interfacing with outsourced transport, and managing return dunnage/containers. PIT operators must be trained, certified, and evaluated under OSHA requirements (also known as a water spider). The role involves operating within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling, shipping, and receiving. Accuracy in inventory counts within the warehouse is crucial. Effective communication with shift leaders and coworkers from other shifts is expected. The worker will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, operating forklifts and other industrial vehicles, and completing required paperwork accurately. Quality control is a key aspect, ensuring no damaged product is shipped out and no damaged raw material is accepted. The role also includes staging finished product for loading.

Requirements
