About The Position

Metals USA Flat Rolled Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Worker for its Horicon, Wisconsin location. The company is a national network of metal service centers and a subsidiary of Reliance, Inc. The Warehouse Worker locates processed products, fills orders, packages and labels products, and moves items to the warehouse for shipment. The role uses plant-specific packaging equipment and requires operation of an overhead crane and forklift. The position may also include other related or assigned duties. Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to read measuring tapes and calipers.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience working with heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locate products that have been completed in a first-step process.
• Fill orders.
• Package products.
• Scale and tag products.
• Use plant-specific packaging equipment, including conveyors, stackers, down enders, and banders, to move products.
• Transport items to the warehouse for future shipment.
• Operate an overhead crane and forklift to move products.
• Identify defects and package designated items.
• Perform other related or assigned duties.
