About The Position

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for completing shipments by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in the delivery area, driving a truck or van to and from vendors, completing preventive maintenance requirements on trucks and vans, arranging repairs, and collecting stock location orders and printing requests. This is a full-time supplemental night-shift position with a four-day work week, ten hours per day, Monday through Thursday, starting at 6:00 PM. Overtime may be required. The stated compensation is $23.00 per hour plus a $1.00-per-hour night-shift differential, totaling $24.00 per hour.

Requirements

Frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds.
Be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and battery change stations.
Be able to perform work involving walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
Be able to work with repetitive motions, at varying heights, and in warehouse environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

Assist with receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments.
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or order-pickers using a full range of peripheral vision.
Place and/or pull stock from warehouse storage areas.
Ensure truck wheels are chocked before unloading begins.
Pick cases from bulk locations to fill forward-pick locations.
Stock forward-pick locations in the bottle room and full-case line neatly and orderly.
Restock bottle and case returns from customer orders.
Pick VIA orders for salespeople and customers.
Store out-of-place product, 360 products, and 370 products as directed by a supervisor.
Sort pallets by size.
Re-box good bottles from broken cases and send broken bottles to the dump location.
Leave equipment in good working order and free of trash for the next shift.
Maintain the cleanliness of an assigned warehouse area.
Perform all duties safely and wear company-issued safety equipment.
Report damage to equipment or the building to a supervisor promptly.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
