About The Position

The Distribution Representative packs and processes orders, prepares shipments, and maintains accurate shipping records. This role works with team members to meet customer needs and may operate machinery as required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse technology systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain company Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment following required training and certification.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and grasp materials and equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet when required.
• Ability to work overtime as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Locate stock and fill orders.
• Check outgoing material for accurate descriptions and quantities based on purchase orders.
• Prepare required reports.
• Use a handheld Scanner/ADC device to locate inventory and add or deduct inventory.
• Use a computer to confirm order status.
• Maintain quality and safety standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Meet regular attendance expectations and requirements.
• Perform other required duties.
