Kelly Cove Salmon Ltd., a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., is offering full-time opportunities for highly motivated individuals to join the Company’s team as a Warehouse Employee based in Seal Cove Warehouse, Grand Manan, NB. As a global seafood company, Cooke has operations in North America, Europe, South America, and Australia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks including forklift operation, general housekeeping, and using a tablet for inventory purposes. Requirements
- Proven experience as a warehouse worker or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
- Attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
- Basic computer skills: familiarity with using tablets or handheld devices for inventory purposes is a plus.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 25kgs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by sweeping and keeping the area free of debris.
- Utilize a tablet or handheld device to accurately track inventory and update records.
- Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling product; handling pallet; placing orders in the delivery area.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
