Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable, responsible, and eager to learn.
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Great customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience working effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple work assignments simultaneously.
  • Available for night shift work.
  • Forklift driver's license, or ability to be trained and certified.
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds and stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Alert, focused, and detail-oriented, able to work in varying warehouse conditions.
  • Knowledge of safety standards pertaining to the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently load trucks for next-day customer deliveries.
  • Safely and efficiently unload incoming stock deliveries, including accurate verification against shipping documents.
  • Assist will-call customers by retrieving orders and loading their vehicles in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
  • Become experienced and knowledgeable of company products.
  • Load, unload, and stock inventory in a safe and cautious manner.
  • Manage paperwork and reports, as required.
  • Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times.
