About The Position

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for completing shipments by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in the delivery area, driving a truck or van to and from vendors, completing preventive maintenance requirements on trucks and vans, arranging for repairs, and collecting stock location orders and printing requests. The role also supports receiving, stocking, order picking, equipment care, and warehouse cleanliness while following safety procedures.

Requirements

Be able to walk, bend, reach, stand, squat, and stoop for considerable periods.
Be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds.
Be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations.
Be able to work with repetitive motions, at varying heights, and in warehouse environmental conditions.
Be available for extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak-season schedules when required.

Responsibilities

Assist with receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments.
Safely operate a forklift, pallet jacks, or an order picker using a full range of peripheral vision.
Place and/or pull stock from warehouse storage areas.
Ensure the wheels of trucks being unloaded are chocked before unloading begins.
Pick cases from bulk locations to fill forward pick locations.
Stock forward pick locations in the bottle room and full-case line neatly and orderly.
Restock bottle and case returns from customer orders.
Pick VIA orders for salespeople and customers.
Store out-of-place products, 360 products, and 370 products as directed by a supervisor.
Sort pallets by size.
Handle broken cases by re-boxing good bottles and sending broken bottles to the dump location.
Leave equipment in good working order and free of trash for the next shift.
Maintain the cleanliness of an assigned warehouse area.
Perform all duties safely and wear all company-issued safety equipment.
Report equipment or building damage to a supervisor as soon as it occurs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
