About The Position

Performs a variety of duties in connection with receiving, storing, issuing, shipping, etc., within a warehouse area. This is a seasonal position with open availability preferred, offering regular hours of 0-40 per week, during the period of November 2026 - January 2027.

Requirements

Twelve months experience performing warehousing related duties such as receiving, storing, issuing, shipping, etc., or similar work that provided the knowledge and skills to perform the duties of the position.
Associate must receive Hazardous Material (HazMat) training within 90 days of hire per Department of Transportation regulations.
Performs work on a hard surface and in work areas that require you to walk, stoop, bend, and stand for a long period of time.
May lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs and sometimes over 50lbs with assistance.
Uses push cart to transport merchandise.
Climbs ladder to pull stock from stock shelves and bins.
Uses sharp instrument to break open boxes.

Responsibilities

Receives and unloads incoming merchandise deliveries, including opening, inspecting, counting, marking, unpacking, segregating, and tagging items.
Verifies items against appropriate documentation for accuracy in items and quantities, checks cost and retail prices, and reports discrepancies to the supervisor.
Warehouses stock according to specified locations and periodically checks for location accuracy, correcting or notifying the supervisor of any issues.
Pulls merchandise in accordance with established procedures for shipment, transfers, or customer orders, verifying information against merchandise or labels.
May provide assistance in the charge back area, performing limited tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipping of over-shipped and/or damaged merchandise.
Performs periodic inventories as required and assists with inventory preparation.
Performs basic housekeeping duties to maintain stock areas.
Works under the supervision of a designated supervisor, carrying out assigned duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
May occasionally operate material handling equipment (MHE).
Performs other related duties as assigned.
