About The Position

Penske Logistics is looking for safety-conscious warehouse associates with a pleasant, outgoing attitude to join their excellent team. This role offers a competitive wage and great benefits. The position involves operating printing machines, packaging, kitting, and using a warehouse management system. Associates will also be responsible for ensuring product quality, maintaining a clean work area, and other assigned tasks by their supervisor.

Responsibilities

Operate printing machines
Comply with all safety requirements
Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department
Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
Use computer to enter records
Accurately match numbers & letters
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
