About The Position

Warehouse Worker/ Non CDL Driver Duties and Responsibilities · Driving, loading, and unloading trailers · Driving fabricated material and tools between jobsites · Basic vehicle maintenance · General shop cleanup and organization · Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day · Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery · Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested · Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor · Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed · Performs other related duties as assigned · Maintains records of goods that have been ordered and corresponding shipping dates. · Reports major shipping problems to purchasing agent · Inspects shipments to confirm that products received meet specifications · Maintains business relationships with suppliers to ensure their assistance if an unexpected event requires expedited shipping of an order · Performs other related duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications · Ability to drive large trucks · Ability to pull 20’ trailers · Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation · Available to consistently work a 40-hour week with frequent overtime · Willing to learn · Ability to drive safely · Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps · Ability to plan delivery routes · Ability to maintain basic logs and records · Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision · Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Education and Experience · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record · Forklift experience preferred All employees are subject to a pre-employment drug screen.
