About The Position

CrossRoads Building Supply, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as a Warehouse Worker / Material Handler (Roof Loader) at their Milwaukee, WI branch. This position plays a vital role in daily warehouse operations and job site support, including roof loading responsibilities, which requires candidates to safely transport and place materials on rooftops as needed. The Material Handler will be responsible for handling materials from the warehouse to delivery, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency every step of the way.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders and rooftops required)
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistently
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb throughout the shift
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
• Candidate must successfully complete a background screen and drug testing prior to hire

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus
• General knowledge of building materials preferred

Responsibilities

• Pull, load, and unload materials accurately and efficiently
• Perform roof loading and assist with placing materials on rooftops
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization
• Verify order accuracy before loading and delivery
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Provide excellent customer service on job sites and in the warehouse
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
