About The Position

Our Warehouse Department is looking for an experienced Warehouse Worker to join with our Warehouse team. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Narrow Aisle Forklift experience
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Experience with customs compliance and international trade documentation
  • Experience shipping telecommunications, electronics, or other high-value equipment
  • Familiarity with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and receiving processes
  • Previous experience coordinating freight pickups and resolving carrier claims
  • Read, understand, and carry out written instructions
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive transactions with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks within the defined SOP
  • Adaptive to workload peaks and need for OT
  • Able to regularly lift and/or safely lift and handle heavy loads weighing up to 50 pounds, with accommodation available as required
  • All applicants must meet the eligibility requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate (CGD).

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office suite an asset
  • Basic Advance Pro (AP) knowledge considered an asset
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 working environment considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform general warehouse duties in a timely manner with direction from supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Safely assist in the loading and unloading of transport vehicles
  • Transact and process material in the Warehouse system
  • Physically receive and document inbound shipments using BOL’s, in accordance with established process and procedures
  • Inspect and report non-conformances on inbound shipments (physical damage, missing parts, part/serial number mismatches)
  • Utilize courier/freight forwarder software (i.e. FedEx Ship Manager), as needed
  • Prepare and organize orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
  • Prepare and package fragile, high-value, or serialized equipment according to company and carrier requirements
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, commercial invoices, and customs documentation
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies with minimal supervision
  • Maintain strict adherence to company personal conduct policies
  • Train and/or support Level I shipping employees
  • Perform other job-related duties as required
