About The Position
This role involves performing various warehouse tasks, including operating a forklift and pallet jack, loading and unloading freight, preparing shipments, and managing customer orders. The position requires data entry for shipping and inventory, verification of documents, and maintaining a clean work area while adhering to quality and safety procedures, particularly within a medical device environment.
Requirements
- 6+ months warehouse experience
- Comfortable using a computer for shipping tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Consistent attendance and dependable work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience preferred
- Medical device or regulated environment experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate with solid warehouse fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift and pallet jack safely
- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
- Build crates and prepare shipments
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders
- Enter shipping and inventory data into the system
- Verify packing slips and shipping documents
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow quality and safety procedures required in a medical device environment
