About The Position

The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services is looking for exceptional individuals to join our team in our state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled warehouse. Come be a part of a team that plays a vital role in keeping the "spirits" of Utah flowing! This role is for a Warehouse Worker II in an air-conditioned warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Capable of lifting and maneuvering items while working at heights (up to 30 feet).
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Be willing and able to work weekends as needed.
• Have a strong work ethic.
• Have warehouse experience.
• Have experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Have experience maintaining inventory.

Nice To Haves

• Risks which require the use of special safety precautions and/or equipment, e.g., working around operating machines, etc.
• The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as frequent climbing, lifting heavy objects over 50 pounds, crouching or crawling in restricted areas, etc.

Responsibilities

• Work in an air conditioned warehouse environment.
• Operate order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks and other mechanical equipment.
• Pick product to prepare for shipment.
• Receive, ship, stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
• Contribute to the department's service-focused mission by providing superior customer service.
