Learn more at www.hbfuller.com. The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, storage, movement, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods. This role ensures inventory accuracy, compliance with safety and quality standards, proper warehouse organization, and timely order fulfillment while supporting overall plant operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to learn and utilize ERP systems such as PRISM or similar platforms.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs.).

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or related environment.
  • Forklift operation experience and/or certification.
  • Knowledge of warehouse inventory control and inventory management procedures.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, and material handling processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies without exception.
  • Perform internal product transfers while adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management practices.
  • Assist with raw material receiving activities, including collecting samples for Quality Control when required.
  • Store materials and products according to established procedures and safety requirements.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials or products to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and road tankers containing bulk and packaged materials.
  • Inspect vehicles and containers to ensure products are transported without damage.
  • Accurately prepare customer orders, including product picking, packaging, and staging for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and ensure all records are signed, dated, and properly filed.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and safely operate material handling equipment as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with housekeeping standards.
  • Inspect warehouse equipment and report maintenance concerns or defects to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Collaborate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and cross-functional teams to support warehouse operations.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
