Warehouse Worker/Backup Delivery Driver
About The Position
Founded in 1946, Plumb Supply Company is a family-owned, Midwest-based Plumbing, HVAC, and PVF distributor serving the needs of professional plumbing and heating contractors. With 32 locations across Iowa and Missouri, a large knowledgeable staff, and a large fleet of trucks, we strive to deliver quality, innovation, and value to customers of every size. Plumb Supply Company is looking for a dependable person with a great attitude, attention to detail, and a team player to join their Fort Dodge, Iowa team. We offer opportunities for growth and advancement within the company and competitive pay. This will be a full-time position, scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 to 4:30.
Requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Demonstrate an ability to create a positive work environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check, and driving record check)
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Pull, stage, and load products for customers while providing excellent service
- Load and unload trucks using dollies, dolly carts, forklifts, and other tools as needed
- Perform and maintain accurate inventory counts
- Unload, inspect, store, and shift incoming product
- General warehouse duties assigned
- Occasional local deliveries to customer's shops or job sites
