Warehouse WMS Coordinator
About The Position
Ryder is hiring a WMS Coordinator in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. The equipment used is a Computer. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years warehouse experience
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Working knowledge of WMS systems
- Forklift experience
- Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
- Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
- Create and maintain daily dock schedules
- Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
- Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
- Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve any problems with the day's orders
- Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
- Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
