About The Position

Colonial Electric Supply is looking for motivated team members who are motivated and eager to learn! Our Warehouse Wire Cutter Associates are responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and fulfillment of customer orders. Some of your duties may include: Operating machinery - employees are trained on site Keep a clean & safe work environment Correctly select items for orders - cutting wire to appropriate size utilizing provided tools. Acquires and maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures, general product knowledge, participates in training, and attends meetings as requested. Acts in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and co-workers. Perform physical and clerical warehouse duties such as the receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of materials.

Requirements

Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Push and pull heavy items for extended periods of time
Standing and walking for the majority of your shift
Ability to operate machinery – Pallet jack, Counter balance or Forklift ( Training will be provided )
Basic computer and math skills
Strong attention to detail
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times without exception
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
