About The Position

Menards Distribution Center is hiring immediately for Warehouse/Warranty Center Team Members. These team members are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into and out of the Distribution Center. The position is available for both full-time and part-time employment, specifically for the 3rd shift (10 PM - 7 AM) in the Warranty Center. Compensation includes a base hourly rate plus shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts, and weekend work. Additional compensation may be provided based on previous experience and education.

Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision
Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation
Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory

Safely operate forklift or other machinery

Load trucks according to cubic weight, size and characteristics
Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner
Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation
Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system
Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory
Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system
Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens
Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle
