About The Position

The Warehouse picker/puller is responsible for accurately loading and unloading orders for shipment to customers. This role requires the ability to lift 50-100 lbs, build good shippable pallets, use scanners to pull orders, and maintain a clean warehouse. The position also involves assisting in other departments, maintaining good attendance, and working in various elements throughout the entire shift.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
Must have basic computer literacy.
Must be able to follow written and verbal work instructions.
Must be able to understand, speak, write and read English.
Must be able to pass math test.

Nice To Haves

Experience as an order puller preferred.
Experience with a hand scanner strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately load and unload orders for shipment to customers.
Lift 50-100 lbs.
Build good shippable pallets keeping all items inside the pallet with no overhang.
Use scanners to pull orders in the system to assure accurate order completion.
Drop completed pallets in the order staging area.
Wrap and label pallets, and move them to the outbound shipping dock.
Exercise proper pallet usage by limiting the number of pallets for each order.
Assist in maintaining a clean warehouse.
Cross-train in other departments.
Maintain attendance and punctuality.
Work in the elements during the entire shift.
Follow written and verbal work instructions.
Understand, speak, write, and read English.
Pass a math test.
May work evenings and/or weekends.
May be required to work overtime.
