About The Position

Continental is seeking a Warehouse Trucker Operator (WTO) to join our team in Illinois. This role is responsible for operating a forklift to manage tires within the warehouse, including putting tires into stock, preparing them for trailer loading, and returning empty pallets. The position requires adherence to safety procedures, operation of a touch-screen monitor, and the ability to lift propane tanks. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within a global industry leader.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED recommended (or completion of In-House Competency Test for non-core jobs).
• 0-1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent reaching and twisting.
• Occasional bending.
• Must adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift inspections of the forklift.
• Notify supervisor if the forklift requires repairs.
• Operate forklift to put tires into stock.
• Set up tires to be loaded onto a trailer.
• Return empty pallets.
• Operate a touch-screen monitor.
• Lift propane tanks for refilling.
