About The Position

The Trainer will train and develop new and existing warehouse employees on standard operating procedures and safety processes and procedures. The Trainer and all employees at S&S Activewear and all employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

  • Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest).
  • In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift.
  • Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs.
  • Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

Nice To Haves

  • Training experience of 2 years in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Training and development of warehouse staff by teaching and enforcing SOP's
  • Responsible for stock chaser/ Equipment training and Certification safety and operation.
  • Provide the company tour to new employees
  • Responsible for Evaluate / Audit employees in training and communicate issues ASAP.
  • Identify training needs and communicate them to the training coordinator
  • Troubleshoot issues with tablets.
  • Document the training by completing all required paperwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Act professionally and remain focused while working
  • Safely operate all warehouse equipment
  • Perform cleaning activities as required
  • Follow and promote all safety rules, maintain a safe warehouse.
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management
