About The Position

The Warehouse Technician helps ensure efficient warehouse operations by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials. The role maintains accurate inventory records, performs routine equipment maintenance, and supports logistics processes. The technician works with team members to optimize workflow, uphold safety standards, fulfill orders on time, and identify operational issues and opportunities for continuous improvement. The position contributes to a reliable supply chain by carrying out warehouse functions accurately and consistently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; valid certification if required.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or technical certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience with automated warehouse systems and barcode scanning technology.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on warehouse equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments to verify their contents and condition.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot warehouse machinery and equipment.
• Maintain inventory records using warehouse management systems and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Follow safety protocols and help maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to support timely delivery and dispatch of goods.
• Assist in training new warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety guidelines.
