About The Position

Ontivity is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for organizing merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, and performing basic preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and able to learn efficiently. This position may require travel to job sites and working necessary hours to complete tasks.

Requirements

Must have valid Drivers License and the ability to obtain a DOT physical certification.
Must be able to pass a background check/MVR/drug screen for government security clearances
Must have complete knowledge on use and care of basic hand and power tools
Must have reliable transportation to and from office location
Must be willing to travel to support different job sites and work necessary hours to complete required tasks
Mechanically inclined
Self-Motivated and able to learn efficiently
Team oriented

Nice To Haves

CDL Class A certification a plus
Certified in fork-lift and skid steer operations

Responsibilities

Organizing merchandise and loading and unloading shipments.
Deliver materials to Job-sites on an as needed basis (may require travel of 2-3 days)
Perform Basic Preventive Maintenance on Trucks, Trailers, Equipment, and Grounds.
Welding/fabrication experience
Responsible for cleaning, organizing and maintaining the warehouse.
Inventory all tools and equipment supplied to employee and crews
Care of vehicles, cleaning them regularly and driving them responsibly
Follow all safety guidelines identified in company safety manual
Perform all job tasks to manufacturers standards
Perform all work safely and efficiently/always utilize correct PPE
Learn basic knot tying and safe rigging principles required to load material on trailers
