About The Position
As a Warehouse Technician, you will perform physical receiving of goods and data entry in SAP ERP. This includes unpacking, inspecting, and putting inventory in the correct location, and placing order requests for inventory replenishments as needed. You will prepare parts from inventory and perform SAP ERP transactions for stock movements, and respond to internal requests for parts, performing SAP ERP transactions for stock movements as needed. Additionally, you will perform various SAP transactions, run reports as needed, and conduct inventory cycle counts. You will also receive and unpack RMAs, check to ensure all items are listed in the RMA and update SAP. Preparing parts or equipment/accessories for shipping, recording data in SAP ERP, and collecting documentation from Logistics Technicians are also key duties. You will place labels and documents on boxes and contact shipping companies to collect shipments. This Job Description indicates, broadly, the duties of this position. Requirements
- Experience with the use of ERP (experience with SAP is an asset)
- Experience with handling of electronic equipment are desirable
- Very good computer literacy and understanding of databases, email, and spreadsheets.
- Good verbal and written reporting skills.
- Good general fitness is required, as some controlled lifting is part of the job and standing for periods of time are required.
- The ability to understand and observe proper Health and Safety practices is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail to produce a high-rate of ‘right-first-time’ results in all work.
- Ability to learn new skills, technologies, and ideas rapidly.
- Ability to work to within deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
