About The Position

The Warehouse Technician will assist with inventory management, shipping and receiving, tool and equipment management, supporting projects within the warehouse, fleet vehicle movement and coordination, and other related warehouse functions. This role supports efficient warehouse operations that are critical to the successful delivery of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects for Integral Blue’s customers. Additional responsibilities including facility maintenance tasks will be assigned. The position will report directly to the Warehouse Operations Lead. This position will work out of Integral Blue’s Auburn Hills, Michigan office.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with other departments and vendors.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking with a focus on minimizing errors and discrepancies.
  • Experience operating a high-lo.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior working experience managing inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and shipping and receiving.
  • Prior working experience utilizing inventory management/tracking software and tools.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Inventory Optimization Professional (CIOP).
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Inventory Control, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Hands on experience with assembling electronic components, wiring, and integrating them into cabinets or enclosures.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Support the shipping and receiving of new inventory items, inspecting them for quality, accuracy, quantity, and compliance with associated documentation.
  • Support inventory management including monitoring inventory levels, including stock on hand, incoming shipments, and outgoing orders. Assist staff with identifying and locating available inventory as well as picking, staging, and kitting material.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse by properly storing materials, labeling inventory, and optimizing storage locations.
  • Monitor and replenish consumable stock levels such as wiring and termination equipment.
  • Support inventory audits, and identify discrepancies, damages, or obsolete materials.
  • Provide support for general building repairs, upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Track, maintain, and support the availability of test equipment and tools, maintaining accurate accountability and coordinating calibration and servicing as needed.
  • Support coordination of the fleet vehicles, including scheduling and dropping off vehicles at repair shops for maintenance or service, ordering small parts and supplies as needed, and coordinating vehicle movements to meet operational needs.
